Gene targeting vector construction
PTL generates knockout (KO), conditional knockout (CKO), knockin (KI) , and point
mutation (PM) targeting vectors. Bacterial Artificial Chromosome (BAC) containing
your gene of interest will be modified with PTL's proprietary technology which
targets most genes at 30% to 50% frequency.
Guaranteed gene-targeting and germline transmission
PTL generates gene-targeted embryonic stem (ES) cell lines using targeting
vectors based on PTL's proprietary technology . Gene targeting with PTL's
proprietary targeting vector is guaranteed and germline transmission from PTL's
ES cell lines is also guaranteed. Clients may choose inbred C57BL/6, albino
C57BL/6 (C2J) , 129(S6)/SvEvTac , 129X1/SvJ, B6/129S6, or 129X1/S6 hybrid ES
cell lines for their gene targeting experiments.
Transgenic mice production by pronuclear injection
PTL generates transgenic mice models by pronuclear injection of transgenic
construct into fertilized eggs from inbred C57BL/6 or hybrid B6CBA/F1 mice. PTL
also offers services to generate plasmid or BAC transgenic constructs.
