PTL generates transgenic mice by pronuclear injection of
transgenic constructs provided by PTL clients. PTL currently
generates transgenic mice in C57BL/6 and B6CBAF1
backgrounds.   Client submits  a plasmid containing the
transgene and PTL takes care of the rest. PTL also
generates  transgenic constructs for our clients. PTL
guarantees at least TWO transgenic founders for each
project and delivers transgenic founders in 3 months.

This service includes:

  • Purification of transgene construct.
  • Pronuclear injection of transgene.
  • Screening of transgenic founders by Southern hybridization.
  • Shipment of transgenic founders.
